Turning an empty classroom into a Girl's Bedroom

I will try and be able to transform one part the empty room into a girl's bedroom.

I tried to turn a girl's bedroom but it did not work out that well.

I'm setting up the scene where the young Beyonce looks in the mirror and she is admiring herself and it flash forward to the older Beyonce and you will see how her life is transform into a small girl into a potential performer.

Here I am showing you the setting of the scene, there is the mirror, old baby pictures around the mirror, teddy bears, cosmetics products and some books 

Change of Plans

As I started to film more and look into more research on music videos. So many ideas have come to my head which made me think a little, made change some of my ideas.  

Firstly, I wanted to do like an X Factor way but trying to find a location that looks like stage is not how I wanted it.

 So I changed to like a gig or showcase shows like doing a small show in a club or pub but its like a big thing. as there will be important people who wants to sign her. 
 I want to try do something like that. So I am going to do a Poster for people to come and watch the performance and try a create a scene, that's more small show case scene.

 I shot different shots and angles. We filmed it around 6 times. Me and one of my dancers chorographed the dance moves. We wanted it to be simple and sassy at the same time

Do My Thing Video Review!

This is an example of a student doing a music video. The reason I like this video is because it looks like pop music video. There are lots different types of camera work and movement, the editing was good, the location was in the studio - different types of  coloured background, I love the way of different types of costumes and makeup and its not the same in all of the background.

I have found an website where I saw loads of other people work on this website.

There were music videos and trailers. This has help me because I could see where the students went bad and what went good.

 I looked at different types of editing, camera shot, movements, mise en scene, sound and locations.

Using this information will help me make my own music video even better.

 We are behind the scenes of Beyonce - Grown Women, where are interviews of the main charatcer, dancers, makeup and costumes and the locations.

Green Screen

 We tried the scene where we danced behind the green screen, My idea was to have a stage, fake lights. It will be a performance based. But it did not work out and It did not look good.

REHEARSAL (DANCE CLASS TIME)#1

Today, we rehearse and showed the young girls, the routine and we explained their role in the music video and what to do and what to bring and everything.

They will be in the music video for 26 seconds.

It was a busy and good rehearse and we can probably finish the routine for another an hour and we could start shooting in the same week.
